Lay the passport flat, capture all four corners, and make sure no text is blurred or covered by glare.

The final page showing your address and parents' names.
Required by most consulates to confirm your residential address.

A recent colour photograph on a plain white background.
Face the camera, keep a neutral expression, and avoid glasses, hats or shadows behind you.

Your last three to six months of statements.
Must be stamped or downloaded directly from net banking, and show your name and closing balance.

Income tax returns
Your most recent ITR acknowledgement.
The ITR-V acknowledgement PDF downloaded from the income tax portal is ideal.

Employment or business proof
Employer NOC, or business registration if self-employed.
The letter should state your role, salary and approved leave dates.

Flight itinerary
Confirmed or held return booking.
A held reservation is enough — you do not need to buy the ticket before the visa is approved.

Accommodation confirmed for the full stay.

Travel insurance
Policy covering the whole trip.
Schengen states require a minimum of €30,000 medical cover.
