Cookie policy

What we store in your browser, why, and how to remove it.

This page explains what Visakaro stores in your browser. It sits alongside the privacy policy, which covers personal data more broadly.

Strictly necessary

These cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot work.

  • Session cookie: keeps you signed in as you move between pages.
  • CSRF token: proves a form submission came from this site, which is what stops another site from submitting an application in your name.
  • Remember token: set only if you stay signed in, so you are not asked for a one-time code on every visit.

Analytics and advertising

Where we run advertising or measurement, the provider may set its own cookies to attribute a visit to a campaign. These are not necessary for the site to work and carry no identity document, application content or passport data — nothing from your application is ever shared with an advertising provider.

What we never do

We do not sell browsing data, and we do not place cookies that read your passport number, documents or application contents. Those live in your account, behind a sign-in.

Removing them

Every browser can clear cookies and block them per site — usually under Settings, Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out and prevent applications from being submitted, because the protection that stops forged submissions depends on them.
